Fabrika London
Where ideas become collections.
From patterns and samples to finished collections, Fabrika London brings designers’ ideas to life from its studio at Design District.
Founded by Karyna Sukha in 2016, Fabrika is a fashion development and manufacturing studio working with emerging and established designers across the full development journey – from patterns, toiles and samples through to small-batch production.
The studio has worked with London and international fashion brands including Dilara Findikoglu, Richard Quinn, Matty Bovan, Ahluwalia, Gilda & Pearl and Cawley, with pieces developed at Fabrika going on to appear at London Fashion Week, on red carpets and in international press.
Behind the collections
On any given week, Fabrika can be moving between demi-couture and one-off pieces, bridal, collection development and larger production runs – all under one roof.
Recent work has included the Connor Ives demi-couture collection, alongside projects for Cassandra Graham Bridal, Gilda & Pearl, BRAT and TWIG London.
Beyond its London studio, Fabrika is developing an international manufacturing network with selected production partners in Europe and further afield. The aim is to give brands a more complete route from development in London through to production at different scales, while keeping Fabrika involved in the technical development and communication throughout.
Made in London
Fabrika has a longstanding connection with London Fashion Week through the designers it works with, regularly supporting the development and production of collections and pieces created for Fashion Week shows.
The studio works closely with Dilara Findikoglu, while another standout project saw Fabrika work with Weffan on the development of his Weffan x Balenciaga collection – an example of the level of development and craftsmanship taking place behind the scenes in its London studio.
Alongside running Fabrika, Karyna mentors emerging fashion founders and designers, drawing on her experience of building a UK manufacturing business and working closely with brands from concept through to production.
