Market Hall

Embedded in the heart of the Design District, the market hall welcomes all of London. Open to the sky and street by day. A glowing hub by night. Housed within a transparent yellow-floored caterpillar, it’s the focal point for the neighbourhood. At street-level, stalls serve food from around the world and creatives show their wares. Above, sit within the tree canopy to eat and people-watch.

Roof Terraces

Look Inside

Join sky level film screenings, yoga classes, exhibition previews. With rooftop basketball, park views and bars stocked with craft beer brewed four floors below, made by London’s creatives.

Open Workshops

Ground floor open workshops provide a glimpse of creative processes. Through picture windows see making spill out onto working courtyards. Precision hand-craft. The noise and dirt of heavy machinery. Works in progress. A rare insight into artists’ lives. An exhilarating, glorious mess.

Look Inside

The experimental space of the Design District lends itself to events. Flexible street-facing space to host pop-up galleries. Dining clubs and guest chefs in the market hall. Performance art and installations in the main square. After-parties from the neighbouring NOW Gallery. With artists, makers, guests and passersby mingling.

Rooftop Basketball Court

Play basketball on the rooftop court. Open to the public at any time, all year round. This playful addition to the skyline doubles as a venue for film screenings and events. With views over the market hall and main square, and glimpses of the river wrapping the rest of the Peninsula.
