Half a year since opening and Design District is already over three-quarters full...

Take a tour of our bustling neighbourhood and it might surprise you to learn it’s been little over six months since the first creative businesses moved in. In that short time Design District has already been included in TIME magazine’s World’s Greatest Places of 2021 and welcomed over 45 new businesses. Now we are excited to welcome another wave of creative tenants as four more buildings reach completion. These include B1 and D4, each of which offers a rare opportunity to occupy an entire building for businesses requiring around 10,000 sqft. There are also three floorplates still available in the district.

At the time of our launch, the promise of a new district providing workspace to London’s creative industries was sparking plenty of interest, making waves in both the design press and wider media. Over 75% of available space had already been rented and a thriving community was taking shape. Half a year on and Design District is approaching full occupancy, providing a home to some of the most exciting new creative brands and startups in the city. These include solo practitioners, non-profit organisations, fledgling startups and rapidly expanding companies, including the likes of Conceptkicks in building C1, technology company ON occupying an entire floor of Bureau , bespoke sneaker maker, Helen Kirkum Studio in D2, and Queercircle, a LGBTQ+ led arts charity based in B4.
