This workshop will help you learn about leadership traits and styles - and give insights on what makes a good Creative Leader, with SheSays co-founder Alessandra Lariu who has more than 25 years experience in the creative industries. The workshop is optimized for creatives in mid-career (5-9 years experience) who are ready to step up!

About SheSays

SheSays is an award-winning organization for women in the Creative Industries. It was founded in 2007 in London and, for 14 years, has been running tailored engagements for corporate clients as well as running free events and mentorship for 70K women worldwide. The organization is known for pioneering actions in the women’s space and is now building a career progression tool called The WEI.


About your instructor

Alessandra (Ale) Lariu was named in Fast Company’s “League of Extraordinary Women” along with 60 other accomplished leaders such as Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey and was also included in the publication's "Most Creative People in Business" list.

Ale has over 25 years experience working in the UK and the US on successful product design, marketing and transformation projects for global businesses, from big brands to start-ups. Before consulting on Experience Design to promote business growth, Ale was an Creative Director in advertising and won over 18 global industry awards.

Born in the Amazon jungle, she grew up in Rio de Janeiro, lived in the US for many years and has now settled in London. Ale uses her time and expertise to make businesses stronger and more creative and to support women through positive action.

Bureau is the engine room of Design District, London’s new permanent home for the creative industries on Greenwich Peninsula.
